Practical strategies and compassionate guidance tailored to your child’s needs.
Talia helped us make sense of a confusing assessment and gave us the confidence to advocate for our son at school.
Finding the right school felt overwhelming, but with Talia’s guidance we finally feel at peace knowing our daughter is in the best place for her.
Working with Talia took away so much stress—we finally felt supported and understood in a process that used to feel impossible.
On The Blog
A consultant helps families understand assessments, IEPs, and school options, and provides guidance on next steps so children get the right support at school. Think of it as having a guide through a confusing process.
Absolutely. We offer Assessment Navigation & Referrals, where parents can share concerns and we help determine which assessments may be most beneficial (e.g., psychoeducational, speech and language, occupational therapy) and connect you to trusted professionals.
Yes. Many families feel overwhelmed by technical language in reports. Through Assessment Review & Guidance, we explain results in plain language and outline actionable steps for school planning and support.
We start by learning about your child’s strengths, needs, and learning style. Then we research and recommend schools that can best support your child — taking into account class size, teaching approach, available supports, and overall fit.
That’s where Hourly Consulting comes in. You can book time as needed for resource referrals, focused advice, or short-term concerns.
Not at all. We also work with families who are just beginning to explore whether their child needs extra support, or who feel their child isn’t thriving in their current school environment.
The first step is to book an introductory call. We’ll listen to your concerns, review any documents you’d like to share, and create a clear plan for next steps.
